Bruin partners with UND for UAV Symposium at New Town High School

On Tuesday, May 21st, 2019, Bruin E&P Operating, LLC (“Bruin”) had the unique opportunity to showcase Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)/Drone technology at the New Town High School in New Town, North Dakota. Mr. Carson Hood and other members of The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation Energy Department were instrumental in allowing Bruin to provide the demonstration and educational seminar. The University of North Dakota Aerospace Program also assisted with teaching the New Town Students about UAV/Drone technology.  Bruin’s Chief Information Officer, Erik Baros, discussed how Bruin incorporates the technology into Bruin’s business and the Bruin team provided a demonstration of the UAV/Drones for the New Town Students.

Bruin thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to partner with the University of North Dakota to teach the next generation about this evolving technology.
